Reredundancy is a crime because I am working as a legal language specialist. Well, according to Wiki, redundant is a “construction of a phrase that presents some idea using more information, often via multiple means, than is necessary for one to be able understand the idea.” My job helped me a lot to improve my grammar so I will give you some phrases you might be using that are redundant, and needs to be corrected. Here are some:
1. Repeat it again. – should be – Repeat it; again
2. All right, okay… – should be – All right; okay
3. Color yellow (colors) – should be – Yellow, green, red
4. Reason why … is because – should be – Reason is
5. Not unless – should be – Unless
6. Irregardless – should be – Regardless
7. Despite of – should be – Despite the
8. Free gift – should be – Gift
9. 8 a.m. in the morning – should be - 8 in the morning; 8 a.m.
10. 8 p.m. in the evening – should be – 8 in the evening; 8 p.m.
11. 12 pm noon – should be – noon
12. 12 am midnight – should be – midnight
13. Regarding about – should be – regarding; about
14. Moral lesson – should be – moral of the story is; lesson of the story is
15. A pleasant good morning – should be – good morning
16. If, in case – should be – in case
17. at this point in time – should be – at this point; at this time
That’s it. I hope, you learned what redundancy and redundants are!

my husband is good at catching these errors.
but repeat it again is correct if you ask the person more than once to repeat it. maybe the person you are addressing doesn’t speak good english, or too low of a voice to hear. so, you ask the question repeatedly again and again, ’til you finally understand it.
here’s one:
She is taller than me. (wrong)
She is taller than I. (correct)
Ow, I learned something this day!
